Arizona Railway Museum features an extensive collection of antique rail cars from different time periods. The museum showcases the heritage and history of the Southwestern railways. Among the rail cars displays are Southern Pacific Railway Business Car, a Santa Fe Caboose, Pullman Cars and an Alaska RR dining car. Also, check out the railway artifacts, equipments and relics of a time gone by.

Know the Chandler’s storied past at the Chandler Museum through photographs, artifacts and exhibits. It chronicles the history of how Chandler became a town and then a beautiful city. Exhibits include artifacts of prehistoric southwestern Native Americans, McCullough-Price House, Morrison’s General Store, Early settler’s tent house replica and Chandler’s first store replica.

Ride the rail at Desert Breeze Railroad Park!

Take a ride with the 1880s replica engine at the Desert Breeze Railroad Park. The Desert Breeze Park offers picnic pavilions, ball fields, walking trails, fishing lake and a playground. Ride the rails on the ’16 gauge miniature train, take in the natural beauty, and ride the carousel at this spot. Fun spot for both adults and kids alike!

Know the agricultural past of Chandler at the Tumbleweed Ranch. It is a collection of historic buildings, homes, farm equipments, animals and more. The McCroskey House is located within the park. It is one of the early homes that farmers of Chandler built here. Know the history of agriculture, and get a glimpse of how the early farmers lived and how they managed their farms in a desert environment.
